Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is an American country and pop performer. She released two singles in 2007 and an album entitled Satisfied. In 2013, she debuted her second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that brought her fame. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than fifteen years and has spent the majority of that time as deputy city manager in Iowa City. As the Assistant Village Manager her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department and the completion of projects. The role of Ashley at Riverside is to assist in the daily operations of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by elected officials. Ashley's responsibilities include planning for municipal services, budgeting, management of staff and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on environmental initiatives. Through her involvement in national organizations and work in communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained insight into the many complexities and differences when it comes to the ways public agencies work. Ashley's training focuses on contemporary strategies for leadership and management in the public sector through a perspective of an experienced professional. She concentrates on making ethical and strategic decisions to meet today's opportunities and challenges, and navigate intergovernmental relationships.
